About the Blog

 Part I: ABOUT THE TITLE  

    Timawa is a visayan term for "poor" or "needy". I incorporate the statement "Timawa, …dahil ako'y isang dukha", as the title of my blog, simply because I wanted to make a statement. A statement that implies to me, lacking something. The title of my blog doesn't necessarily mean that I'm broke or that I'm poor but I'm also not saying that I'm wealthy. What I just wanted to imply is that I lack something. I'm a "timawa" or I am "needy" because there's a part of me that needs to be served or heard. 

    My family is not rich. I'm saying in terms of money. We just live a simple life and a simple lifestyle. We eat 3x a day, snacks not included.  My father has a fine job, good enough to send me, my sister and my brother to school, buy us books, pc, clothes and food but still I could say we're not financially stable. As a matter of fact we're facing a crisis during these days. And I admit we really need money. But that's not what I care for. I just need a reason how the lack of money could be such a great enemy to human happiness. I believe my family's having some insufficiency in money and I admit It had brought such an impact to me but nevertheless they've always given me love and affection. I guess they have been always sufficient to that. Yes we're damn poor but we are happy. 

    But somehow, inspite of all the love and affection my family is giving me, I still feel that I lack something. Dreams, because I being "poor" have only my dreams. And I want that to happen.

Part II: WHY I BLOG

    I blog for certain reasons. One is because I have a gazillion of thoughts circling through my mind and If I won't let it out, I'm having a feeling that it would explode and it would give me a headache. Second is I want to keep track of the things I'm doing or the things I've done, the things I want, the memorable things that happened and so on and so forth. And the third one is because I want to keep a record of my rants and raves, my out-of-this-world ideas and as well my nonsensical posts.

    I blog since grade three (well in my own hardbound bulky diary with a padlock which you can open using a  pin) . Seriously, I'm blogging since 2005 in the good old blogger/blogspot platform. Since then I've been a trying and moving to different free blogging domains or platform like blogdrive, tabulas, livejournal, multiply, wordpress and even on friendster. Until I've decided to evacuate here in i.ph. If you're interested about my older blogs
